MGS34 Manual Abrasive Belt Grinder
Working on its own or as a companion to the RGS430, the MGS34 offers exceptional performance in manual grinding operations. The MGS34 provides significant advantages in ergonomics and safety compared to traditional hand grinding machines, and incorporates belt technology for improved efficiency and productivity. Abrasive belts are economical to use and offer a wide working area. Most foundries have a misconception that belt grinding is more expensive than using abrasive wheels.
Common abrasive belt size allows new belts to be used first on the MGS 34 and then transferred to the RGS 430. The power grinding of the RGS 430 re-sharpens the abrasive (leading to improved life of the belt.
Fork Tubes
The compact design and inbuilt forklift tubes permit easy manoeuvrability and installation.
Belt Tracking
Allows precise alignment of belt
Brake Motor
Allows for quick stops for belt change during normal usage or in an emergency.
4" Belt
Conventional pedestal wheel grinders place an enormous strain on fingers and hands due to the vibrations caused by uneven wear of the wheel. The belt system completely eliminates this problem.
Emergency Stop
The machine has low voltage circuits and an EMERGENCY STOP control. A pneumatic control system ensures that the operation is not disrupted by fluctuations in air pressure.
Pneumatic Height Adjustment
This ergonomic design feature permits the operator to position the machine to suit his height. This reduces neck and back strain caused by bending - the greatest problem encountered with conventional pedestal grinders.
