RGS430 Plunge Grinder
The new standard in ingate removal, the RGS programmable plunge type grinder with adjustable rise & fall action is the ideal machine for ingate removal on investment castings. The RGS Series of grinders are available in the RGS430, RGS450 and RGS460 possessing a 30, 50 and 60Hp motor respectively.

Internal Hydraulic System
The RGS plunge grinder has an inbuilt hydraulic power pack that powers all of the machine motions. This includes a spindle brake for rapid stops and hydraulic belt tensioning which is more effective than pneumatic systems. The belt tension is also monitored and will cause an "Emergency Stop" shutdown should the abrasive belt break during operation.

Operator Control Buttons
This ensures that operators cannot be near the job during the grinding cycle. Emergency stop - all machine movements are completely stopped. The operator position has an ergonomic adjustable height (37"- 44"/ 940mm - 1120mm from floor) cycle start station. Cycle is initiated via two photoelectric touch switches that eliminate hand, wrist, and arm stresses associated with mechanical switch operation. The two button start is anti-tiedown, anti-repeat for safe operation.
