ACS775 Programmable Abrasive Cutoff Machine
A fully programmable abrasive wheel cut-off machine that utilises a 20"- 24" (500mm-600mm) abrasive wheel. The ACS 775 is designed to use standard 3-5 bar flat runner or square investment casting trees with minimal modifications.
Internal Hydraulic System
The totally enclosed fan cooled 120 HP (90 kW) drive motor is started and protected by an electronic soft-starter as standard. The hydraulic power pack is a robust system using universally available parts.
Operator Interface Panel
All operating parameters are entered via a Quickpanel operator interface panel. The operator interface panel also displays operating modes, machine, and maintenance alarms. The ACS 775 has built in part number storage as standard. All the parameters for 850 different tree configurations can be stored and recalled as a part number for minimal setup times.
Swing Arm Operator Panel
The Swing Arm Operator Panel is used for controlling the machine in manual operation mode, allowing the operator to view the cutting of the tree from different directions.
Internal Features
A fully enclosed cutting area for safe, clean, low noise removal of cast parts. The abrasive cutting wheel is measured after every cut via displacement laser and the cutting speed is adjusted automatically to give best free cutting properties. The machine prompts the operator when the wheel is too small and the blade moves to a 'blade change' position for easy change of the cutting wheel. A work light illuminates the work area. The cut castings can be removed using a catch basket or conveyor.
